There are several ways to encourage your employees to support the cause and to foster a sense of unity within your company.

Source deduction donations
Employees can help fund cancer research by agreeing to have donations deducted directly from their paycheques. Source deductions are a quick and easy way to contribute to the fight against cancer.

Matching donations
The Matching Donations program is a great way for companies to encourage charitable giving and boosts the value of each employee's donation. Each dollar that employees donate to research is automatically matched by the employer.

Employee involvement
It would not be possible for the Cancer Research Society (CRS) to meet its objectives without the help of its volunteers, which is why more and more companies are working with our organization to allow their employees to volunteer during business hours. These partnerships enable the CRS to substantially increase the human resources available to pursue its mission.

Corporate donations for volunteer hours
Several Canadian companies offer their employees the opportunity to ask their employer for a donation for the philanthropic cause of their choice, in exchange for volunteer hours worked at their favorite organization.

If you work for a company offering such a programme, and if your volunteering work is admissible, you can submit a donation request  to your employer who will assess the volunteer hours you have worked and will remit a donation to the Cancer Research Society on your behalf. The amount of the donation is proportional to the volunteer hours worked and may be subject to certain restrictions.

Third party events benefiting the Cancer Research Society
Organizing a fundraising event, regardless of its size, is an excellent way to support the Cancer Research Society's mission.
