Planned giving

Do you dream of making a substantial donation to a charitable organization, but don't yet have any definite plans because your main goal is to provide for your family ?

When planning the distribution of your assets, you can anticipate giving your chosen charity a donation that will enable your estate to take full advantage of the available tax benefits. The tax credits paid to your executors during the year of your death can increase the value of your donation and reduce the tax burden on your estate.

This type of donation is known as planned giving. Planned giving entails deciding to make a donation today, and deferring that donation to a later date. This generous gesture is the outcome of an important and carefully weighed decision to share the wealth you've built up over your lifetime with the charity of your choice.

If you are planning to make a donation to the Cancer Research Society, we would appreciate it if you would inform us of your intentions so that we can thank you appropriately.
