Donate to the CRS

Charitable annuity

A charitable annuity is an irrevocable contract between a donor and the Cancer Research Society (CRS).  According to the terms of this contract, the donor makes a donation in the form of cash, securities or real estate in exchange for an annual or monthly annuity paid at a fixed rate, and guaranteed for the rest of his/her life. The annuity can also be paid to another beneficiary named in the contract.

This solution is ideal for people who want to support a worthy cause, while receiving regular income and paying the least amount possible in income tax.

The charitable annuity is an advantageous type of donation. In addition to providing a donor with a fixed income until his/her death, in most cases, it also substantially increases his/her available yearly revenues. This type of donation also provides the donor with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that he/she no longer has to manage his/her investment portfolio.
