The CRS Challenge Program
The CRS Challenge is a series of expeditions and fundraising campaigns to support cancer research. During these expeditions, adventure sport buffs conquer physical exploits that require courage, stamina and dedication. They participate in athletic challenges in far-flung locations around the world, in honour of a cancer hero— a friend or loved one who is currently suffering from cancer or who previously battled the disease. The Cancer Research Society can also match participants with a hero.
The challenge includes a complete physical training program to help participants achieve these physical endeavours. Experts in the field, including a trainer, a nutritionist, an expedition expert, a travel advisor, and a fundraising coordinator are available to support and advise participants on their physical and fundraising efforts.
In 2012-2013, we offer the following destinations: Kilimanjaro Climb (2012), Everest Base Camp Climb (2012), Choquequirao Trek (2013), Walk through Cinque Terre (2013), Walk on the Great Wall of China (2013), Kilimanjaro Climb (2013) and Lausanne Marathon (2013).
