Climbing Africa's highest summit is undoubtedly a one-of-a-kind adventure. Mount Kilimanjaro, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1989, is the highest stand-alone mountain, crowned by a snowy cap at its pinnacle.

Here are the details about this Challenge:

Climbing via the Machame route generally provides the most impressive landscapes, allowing participants to fully enjoy the mountain in all of its glory. In spite of being more primitive and not as busy as the most popular route (Marangu), Machame does not pose any particular technical difficulties.
