CRS / CNETS Grant

The Cancer Research Society (CRS) has joined the Carcinoid NeuroEndocrine Tumour Society Canada (CNETS) in order to fund research projects on neuroendocrine tumours, a rare form of cancer that does not receive much funding.

The CRS / CNETS Grant is awarded for a period of two years for an amount of $60,000 per year. Since its creation two CRS / CNETS Grants have been awarded; the first to Dr. Herman Yeger from the Hospital for Sick Children of Toronto in 2010 and the second to Dr. Nahum Sonenberg from the Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Research Center of McGill University in 2011.
