The Cancer Research Society (CRS) contributes towards training the next generation of cancer researchers through the funding of fellowships. The CRS/Steven E. Drabin Fellowship is a specific fellowship funded by the Steven E. Drabin Research Fund, established in 2000 to fund basic research into establishing the cause of, or developing treatments for, T-cell rich B-cell lymphoma. Personalized funds such as this one are a specific means by which the Cancer Research Society supports research on a defined subject.
T-cell rich B-cell lymphoma is a very rare type of lymphoma. The CRS/Steven E. Drabin Fellowship has been awarded for a period of three years at an amount of $55,000 per year.
To be eligible for this personalized fellowship, applicants must be registered at a Canadian university or accredited institution must hold a PhD or a professional degree (MD, DMV, etc.) and must be undertaking research training in a Canadian laboratory recognized by the CRS.
