CRS Strategic grant
The Cancer Research Society (CRS) supports research activities by independent scientists or small groups of investigators on defined subjects through different programs such as the CRS Strategic grant on genomics and proteomics of metastasis.
Up until 2008, this grant was awarded on a yearly basis, for a period of three years for a maximum amount of $150,000 per year. The Cancer Research Society had accepted renewal requests for this program for a maximum of seven years of total funding. The scientific committee is presently reviewing its commitment and will most probably announce another CRS Strategic Grant program in the near future.
All applicants must hold an academic appointment in a Canadian university or accredited institution in order to apply for the CRS Strategic grant on genomics and proteomics of metastasis.
