Biking Trek from Jasper to Banff - 2012
Participants in the Biking Trek from Jasper to Banff must raise a minimum of $8,500 each to support cancer research.
This Challenge, which should only be attempted by advanced cyclists, features some of the most beautiful and varied landscapes in the province of British Columbia / Alberta. During the trip (covering 520 km or 320 miles), participants will travel the entire Icefields Parkway, from Jasper to Banff, and discover some of the Canadian Rockies' best kept secrets. Cyclists participating will be subject to changes in elevation totalling 5,300 metres: the trek is for ambitious intermediate or expert cyclists.
