Participants in the Everest Base Camp Climb must raise a minimum of $10,000 each to support cancer research.

Base camp is located immediately underneath the risky and forbidding Khumbu Icefall, at the tip of the glacier of the same name. Luckily, the journey to base camp does not require crossing any dangerous glaciers with crevasses or cascades.
