Participants in the Kilimanjaro Climb must raise a minimum of $11,000 each to support cancer research.

Kilimanjaro has a place of honour in Africa. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest stand-alone mountain, crowned by a snowy cap at its pinnacle. Climbing via the Machame route generally provides the most impressive landscapes, allowing participants to fully enjoy the mountain in all of its glory. In spite of being more primitive and not as busy as the most popular route (Marangu), Machame does not pose any particular technical difficulties.
