The Way of St. James - 2012
Participants in the Way of St. James de Compostela must raise a minimum of $10,500 each to support cancer research.
Participants will cover over 300 km, with days of over 8 hours sometimes necessary to complete certain legs. A strong dose of perseverance and courage will be necessary to avoid giving in to temptation and falling back on more traditional modes of transportation, such as a taxi! During the toughest moments, participants will no doubt be lifted up by thoughts of their respective cancer heroes, who have no choice but to keep bravely forging ahead!
